71% of school children is aware that eating unhealthily can affect your future health 

Consum conducts a study with more than 1,800 students to learn about the perception of healthy eating and its link with emotions.

Seventy-one percent of schoolchildren acknowledge that eating unhealthy today can affect their future health, according to a study conducted by the Cooperative Consum with more than 1,800 children and young people between 8 and 15 years of age. The study was carried out among Primary and Secondary school students of the Valencian Community, Catalonia, Murcia, Castilla-La Mancha and Andalusia, who took part in the Illustrated Tales Contest to be held on the occasion of World Consumer Day.

The competition, which celebrated its 12th edition this year, aims to sensitize small consumers about responsible living habits. More than 3,270 schoolchildren took part. The theme of this edition has been healthy eating and its link with emotions. All the award-winning stories are available on the Cooperative’s educational website,  Team Consum
