Travelling with taste is a section within Entrenosotros, in which we introduce you to a short getaway and tell you about essential visits, traditional dishes and things to see. We will be giving you a very visual overview of travel plans and ideas of things to do for each of the destinations through a series of illustrations. Enjoy your trip!
We start in La Mancha, an area with a lot of history, the stage and birthplace of Don Quixote de la Mancha, one of the most famous books in the world. Our trip through this part of Castilla will take us to the Lagunas de Ruidera, visiting the Medrano Caves and arriving at the Las Tablas de Daimiel National Park. Amust-stop are the windmills of Campo de Criptana, the Courtyard theatre of Almagro and the collegiate church of Alcázar de San Juan, and to stock up on energy you need to try one of thetraditional La Mancha stews that appear in Miguel de Cervantes' novel, finishing with the delicious Alcázar cakes.
