Carolina Ferre is one of the most recognisable faces in Spain's world of broadcasting. A journalist and presenter from Alicante, she has made her career mainly in television. She began her career at Canal 9, where she presented programmes such as Guanye qui guanye and Tela marinera, before making the leap to Spanish national television, where she worked for channels such as Telecinco, La Sexta, Cuatro and TVE. After presenting À Punt Directe for two seasons on regional television in Valencia, she currently contributes to Tot es mou on TV3 and TardeAR on Telecinco.

Here are her "top 5":

RICE DISHES

Rice has always been a staple in my life, deeply woven into both my diet and my family’s. As a child, I remember it being the centrepiece of our meals five days out of seven.

EGGS

I love them in every form, but it goes beyond that. Having eggs at home brings me a sense of reassurance. With eggs and whatever’s left in the fridge or pantry, I can always whip up something satisfying.

CHOCOLATE

An absolute essential! There are times I go without it, but I always keep some on hand, just in case a craving strikes. I aim for good-quality dark chocolate, but let’s be honest… any kind will do.

NUTS

Incredibly versatile! I enjoy them as a snack or take them along when I travel. I always keep a stash close by, particularly almonds and walnuts.

OAT MILK

I’ll admit—it’s a must with my morning coffee. Oat milk is one of those little things that never fails to elevate my breakfast. It’s a game-changer every time!
