Here are her “Top 5”:

EGG
It is a comprehensive food, with all of the essential amino acids. It also contains choline, which turns into acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter which is vital for the brain. Moreover, it is really handy and goes well with everything. I love egg in every form!

EVOO
Extra virgin olive oil is a wonderful, healthy unsaturated fat, whose benefits have been proven at all levels: hormonal, physical, organic and mental. I call it “the elixir”.

SALMON
A blue fish, rich in protein and omega 3, and essential for the body. We obtain DHA from it, a fatty acid with anti-inflammatory effects which is vital for our health, and we often lack it in our diets.

CAULIFLOWER
This is a widely hated vegetable, but when made into “cauli-rice”...it is a basic accompaniment at home! We have cauliflower every single week. In addition, it's very rich in vitamin C.

NATURAL YOGHURT
I love yoghurt, not just because it’s good for breakfast, as a snack, dessert or when you’re feeling peckish, but because it’s one of the simplest ways to consume probiotics. I enjoy mixing it with fruit, nuts and seeds. If I don’t have yoghurt for breakfast, I have to go and buy it. I don’t feel human if I don’t have a bowl for breakfast with a coffee!
