Here are his “five of”:
MUESLI
Ever since trying my first muesli in Switzerland many years ago, every morning I eat a good bowl of cereal with fruit and yogurt. In addition to being delicious, it helps with digestion and gives me energy to face the day.
WINE
A good glass of red wine from one of the many and excellent DO's that we have here in Spain completes any meal. If you are in good company, who could ask for more?
FRUIT
I'm never able to eat just one piece of fruit, I always feel like eating more. I love all kinds of fruit; their aroma, freshness and sweetness are unmatched. I greatly enjoy consuming fruit at any time of the day and with all meals.
SERRANO HAM
There is one taste I shall never tire of and it is that of Serrano ham. I can eat it at any time of the day and, moreover, it doesn't need any special preparation: with a slice of rustic bread and a good drizzle of EVOO… paradise! No wonder it is so appreciated all over the world.
COFFEE
Having low blood pressure as I do, I appreciate coffee not only for its aroma and flavour, but also because it charges my batteries, enabling me to continue with my daily activity. When I have coffee at the end of a meal, I savour its wonderful flavour for hours.
