For producing this article, Estefanía Banini and Consum have given 500€ worth of food to the Asociación Española contra el Cáncer.
Victoria Díez is a Valencian pilota player, a sport that she plays specifically in the raspall, one wall, frontó and galotxa variants. In recent years, she has taken part in the main pilota competitions, both in the autonomous and in international spheres, as well as such prestigious contests as the European handball and the Raspall Supercup. Currently, she combines her sports with studying Biotechnology at the University of Valencia.
Here are her 5 of:
AVOCADO
Avocado on toast is never missing from my breakfast. Avocados are rich in potassium and magnesium, minerals that support proper muscle function, and they are also a good antioxidant.
PASTA
I love any type of pasta and, as I’m a sportswoman, I eat it several times a week. It is a source of carbohydrates which provides me with plenty of energy, as well as being a product that is low in fat and cholesterol.
BANANA
Bananas are my favourite fruit. They are an important source of potassium and they help to prevent muscle cramps. Because of this, I tend to eat them often to help me to recover from great physical exertion.
FISH
Fish is never missing from my diet either. It has excellent nutritional value, provides high quality protein and a wide range of vitamins and minerals.
VEGETABLES
I love all kinds of vegetables. They are a food that is never absent from my daily diet. They provide many vitamins and minerals, as well as being the foods that provide the most water, so they help me to keep my body hydrated.
